General Information The Retiree Council is active both politically and socially. Politically, the council belongs to the Federation of Retired Union Members (FORUM), with three delegates appointed from our council. Two delegates also attend the Legislative Conference in Sacramento to meet with the California legislators. Socially, the council organizes Reno trips, fishing trips and BBQ's throughout the year for our retired members. All of these activities are subject to approval by the council members. Find out more about these fun events by attending one of our Retiree Meetings held monthly on the 3rd Thursday at 11:00 a.m. on: Location : Local 270's Retiree Hall, 526 Emory Street, San Jose, CA 95110 (across from the Union Hall)
